1) Complete projects based on activity for the design and development of new products.
2) Follow up all the product development process to ensure projects are on schedule, totally workable, reliable, producible and meet specifications. Provide schedules and status reports on the projects.
3) Be responsible for and coordinate, cross functionally, the testing, construction and debugging of new product parts / components and tooling to achieve targeted dates and monitor project to ensure success.
4) Assist with preparation and maintenance of engineering control systems: product design and development schedules, patent files, FMEA and quality control, tracking and feedback, tooling in progress, BOM and ECN documentation/information base.
5) Provide technical support to the functional areas of Procurement, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering and Production.
Requirements & Qualifications
1) College graduate or above in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Discipline.
2) Minimum of three years experience in the design and development of high volume consumer products and multiple projects management in a foreign manufacturing enterprise or Joint Venture or private company
3) Good knowledge and experience in the design, selection, and specification of engineering thermo-plastic parts and components, familiar with performance of engineering thermo-plastic materials and lubricant greases
4) Good experience in plastic injection process and injection molds
5) Working knowledge of zinc and brass casting methods (preferred)
6) Experience using engineering Unigraphics NX modeling, assembly and drafting (preferred)
7) Customer (Internal & External) oriented, highly responsible, self-motivated, good team work spirit and interpersonal skills.
8) Good knowledge of English (oral & written), Grade 4 or above.
