3.Job Description:
Lead, design and development imaging products with a team of R[$D Engineers ]
Design mechanisms a peripherals in the areas of motion transmission, motion control, paper feed, static structure etc.
Develop test methodologies, characterisation tools and conduct experiments to verify designs
Work with customers and cross functional teams in manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain (procurement) etc.
Lead architectural, layout decisions and interface with EE, Firmware teams
Drive system level requirements and integrate with other disciplines
4. Requirement:
Degree/ Masters in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3-6 yrs' experience in developing telcome products and system integration is preferred
- Strong working and analytical knowledge of mechanical fundamentals (dynamics, statics, machine design, gear train)
- Rollers, plastic, machined and sheet metal part design skills with low cost approach
- Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling ( Solid Designer/ Pro- Engineer)
- Knowledge of FEM / Stress analysis, Lab view / Matlab will be advantageous
- Exposure to automation system design / Mechatronics will be advantageous
