As an extension pack of Pro/E, You should install Pro/ENGINEER WILFRE2.0 or WILDFIRE 3.0 before you install the EMX5.0 F000 extension pack of pro/E and ensure your pro/e license includes the #192 feature< Feature Expert_Moldbase(192)> of pro/e. Of course, prior to rlz lic gen of Pro/e for WILDFIRE2.0 and 3.0 by ZWT includes the feature.
Attention:
The EMX 5.0 no longer supports lower version of pro/E, the Pro/ENGINEER 2001 and WILFIRE can't run it enven if you have the right lic!
OK, if the above reday, let's go now:
run setup, choose all installation options and the right language which you need and choose an installing location, e.g. c:\ptc\emx5.0 , then Press Next button till finish.
Copy the following file under the installed emx5.0.F000 directory, e.g.:
c:\ptc\emx5.0\text\config.pro
and paste it into the following installed directory of pro/e:
e.g. for wildfire 2.0, please paste it into here:
\proeWildfire 2.0\text
e.g. for wildfire 3.0, please paste it into here:
\proeWildfire 3.0\text
