To Interface with product engineers and suppliers in up-front engineering, including virtual validation of designs at various stages of product development;
To Perform durability, crash, NVH and optimization analysis of various auto components and sub-systems during the virtual product development/validation phase;
To Conduct DOE and Optimization studies;
To Identify issues and take initiative to resolve it effectively;
To interoperate the results and suggest design modification to meet the requirements.
Qualification Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Mechanical design / analysis theory and physics;
Proficient in using CAE tools, such as HYPERMESH, NASTRAN, ANSA, LSDYNA, ABAQUS, RADIOSS etc.;
Hands-on experience using IDEAS, Unigraphics, CATIA;
Familiar with automobile components and systems;
Product design and testing knowledge of automotive systems is a plus;
Know ledge of design specifications/standards of Auto OEMs is a plus;
Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese;
Strong problem solving, team-work, and presentation skills;
MS in Mechanical Engineering field; PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred;
Must be Self-motivated.
