Perform CAD data translation among different CAD systems (PDGS, I-DEAS and CATIA V5), populate appropriate PDM repositories and Remaster CAD data as needed;
Create 3D part / assembly geometry in CATIA V5 and perform various studies;
Conduct supplier CAD/CAM/CAE/PIM capability assessment and facilitate their C3P implementation;
Support Design &Release activities as per company standards and responsible for the design of components and systems that meet given functional requirements and are high quality, lightweight, cost-effective, and easy to manufacture.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering field;
Minimum 3 years of CAD experience (Catia V5/Team Center prefered);
Solid hands-on experience in automotive industry;
Experience with VisPlus is preferred;
Good communication skills, verbal and written;
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated results oriented leadership behaviors, especially teamwork, courage and commitment to quality; Self-motivated.
